Goblin

Goblins are small, roughly Gelfkin sized (3-3 1/2 foot tall) humanoids. They are devious and crafty, but are very lazy, so most of their ideas never pan out. They can be quite vicious when they outnumber a foe, but can just as easily run away and hide if outnumbered or outmatched. Goblins breed like rabbits and are constantly a pain in civilized folks side. Recently mystical experiments with goblins and other races have led to the creation of hobgoblins (which provide excellent long-term planning) and Bugbears (which provide brute strength). This has created some formidable raiding bands and sometimes even armies, if there are enough hobgoblins to keep them in check. Goblins are mistreated by almost every other creature and race, except bugbears. Before hobgoblins and bugbears, goblins were often found in the company of orks. Since then, they prefer to be around their own goblin-kin.
